Daniel Dampt & Fils produces white wines from parcels within the four Chablis appellations: Grand Cru, Premier Cru, Chablis and Petit Chablis. Chardonnay contributes its power and expressiveness to the wines produced from these vineyards, taking advantage of the varied exposure of the slopes sculpted by the river Serein, a tributory of the Yonne. There are wines for all tastes: refreshing, lively and bright, or ample, supple and round, and the proof of the wine – naturally – is in the tasting.
With its impressive variety: Bougros from the Grand Cru vineyards, Vaillons, Côte de Léchet, Les Lys, Beauroy and Fourchaume from the Premier Crus, and other parcels within the Chablis and Petit Chablis appellations, Domaine Daniel Dampt & Fils draws on each wine’s natural characteristics to bring out its very best. From sustainable vineyard practices that respect the vines and carefully ploughed soils, right through to the bottling process, the work at the domaine is independently managed. All this care and painstaking attention is reflected in the quality of the wines that are so lovingly produced by Vincent and Sébastien Dampt.
